Ojo por ojo (Eye for an Eye)
Catalog Note "Ojo por Ojo" (Eye for Eye), a science fiction thriller by Alan Star published by Ediciones Toray in 1961, follows SIP (Special International Police) agent Dorick Peyton as he infiltrates a house where the dangerous Rossini brothers hold his love interest, Judy, hostage. The brothers have murdered four innocent people in armed robberies and now use the girl as bait. Trapped in a carefully calculated crossfire, Peyton devises an improvised plan using his handcuffs and belt as a grappling hook to topple Judy's chair to safety before engaging the brothers in a firefight that kills them both. After reporting the outcome to his superior Callowan, Peyton receives his discharge from the SIP and takes a position with the Transport Mars Corporation. He reunites with Judy, and together they plan to marry and honeymoon on Mars, escaping Earth behind.
