Indiana James: Cosecha Negra
Museum Catalog Note "Cosecha Negra" (Black Harvest) is a Spanish-language adventure serial featuring Indiana James, a globe-trotting investigator. After returning to London from troubling events in Istanbul, James encounters Angie Brown, a sixteen-year-old street hustler who recognizes him from television coverage of the Bermuda Triangle. She propositions him with information about bizarre mutations occurring at her brother-in-law Stephen Gallaher's Scottish farm near Loch Ness—deformed livestock and discolored vegetables that could yield a profitable newspaper story. James agrees to investigate, acquiring a camera in Glasgow while Angie purchases a priest's costume as disguise. Upon arriving at the remote Highland farm, however, they discover the explanade littered with mutilated animal corpses—horses, pigs, cattle—some deformed, some shot repeatedly. The narrative establishes mystery and danger while balancing comedic elements through the protagonists' banter and Angie's scheming.
