Crimen Falsificado (Murder Framed) This Spanish-language detective novel, translated by Luis Conde Vélez from the original English title "Soho Salome" by Max Risco, follows a London crime wave involving two Ceylonese twin brothers, Luiz and Darro da Silva, who operate an extortion-and-murder racket targeting women. The narrative shifts to Marcus Evans, a sensationalist reporter for the *Clarión* newspaper, whose editor Jay pressures him for detailed investigation beyond wire service reports. Evans receives a mysterious telephone call from a young blonde woman claiming to have information, arranging a meeting on King's Road in Chelsea.
