Landis, presents entirely new fiction for adult readers seeking sophisticated macabre stories. The issue features a serialized novel, *Let There Be Magick* by James R. Keaveny, written in the style of the defunct *Unknown Worlds*. Alan Caillou contributes the feature novelette *Odile*, illustrated by William Stout—a story set in rural France (Petit Gruet, 1936) depicting a woman, Denise Croix, preparing for the arrival of her lover by bus, set against the atmosphere of an isolated village near ancient ruins.
