La luz viviente
"La Luz es Viviente" by Peter Kapra (1971) This Spanish-language science fiction serial follows the crew of the starship *Kobra-101*, commanded by Captain Pe Mysen, as they explore the planetary system R.C. 240. Upon reaching planet R.C. 240-4, the crew discovers an abandoned spiral-configured city with ruined buildings, green acidic canals, and red vegetation. Captain Mysen dispatches second officer Jack Elgin and chief engineer Miriam Lappa—a romantically involved pair—to investigate the ruins. They collect samples of the highly corrosive green liquid filling the canals, discover stone architecture resembling Earth construction from centuries past, and explore deteriorated buildings containing mysterious furniture and utensils of unknown purpose. The explorers contemplate whether anthropomorphic beings once inhabited this world, though the complete nature of the civilization remains unknown. The narrative emphasizes the explorers' caution amid numerous unexplained mysteries on this alien world.
