La llave del mundo
Catalog Description *La llave del mundo* (The Key to the World) by Clark Carrados is a science-fiction adventure serialized across multiple chapters. Ricardo Thomas, a spacefarer, returns to Earth with twenty tons of "energyl," a revolutionary nuclear fuel discovered twenty years prior that provides 117 times more energy than uranium without radioactive waste. While traveling, he encounters a mysterious small alien named Tynux trapped under a lead-containing rock on an asteroid. After rescuing him, Thomas receives a year-long magical grant: the ability to obtain anything through sheer willpower. However, upon landing at a spaceport, Thomas is drugged by criminals posing as customs officials. His energyl is replaced with cork covered in tin foil. Police Captain Herder reveals an organized crime ring has been systematically stealing energyl shipments. Thomas vows to recover his cargo and expose the thieves. Concurrently, Professor Frinn celebrates a major scientific breakthrough in his laboratory, observed by his assistant Laura Baxter.
