Fuerza Total (Clark Carrados)

This Spanish-language science fiction serial, "Fuerza Total" (Total Force), published by Ediciones Toray in 1969, follows agent Chick Fallass as he flees pursuers wielding radiant pistols to reach an Admiral's compound. Fallass reveals a conspiracy: scientist Professor Maledon has constructed a massive force generator on asteroid CR-400 (434 km diameter) to dislodge it from orbit and create an artificial solar eclipse, plunging vast Earth regions into permanent darkness. The generator, powered by converting asteroid matter into exhaust through twenty 100-meter nozzles, is already operational with a battalion of workers. A beautiful woman named Tarq persuaded the workers to collaborate. After Fallass is killed by attackers, the Admiral directs his deputy Gustavo Mina to recruit agent N-401 (Stan Ocky) for the dangerous mission, forcibly retrieving Ocky from a romantic encounter to brief him on the assignment.
