Buffalo Bill's Trail of the Man Tigers

Issue 51 of *Buffalo Bill*, a French pulp serial featuring the legendary American frontier scout, contains the complete story "À la Poursuite de la Bande des Tigres" (Trail of the Man Tigers). In the saloon at Trails Cross, a notorious criminal known only as "the Tiger"—a massive, ruthless desperado with a bounty of five thousand dollars on his head—brazenly challenges anyone to capture him. A mysterious stranger, calm and methodical, accepts the wager. Using a lasso with extraordinary speed and precision, the stranger loops the Tiger's arms, disarms him, and subdues him completely, immobilizing the feared outlaw in seconds before the astonished crowd. The issue includes a puzzle contest offering prizes ranging from a bicycle to photographs and watches, as well as period advertisements for various patent medicines and commercial goods.
