Lou Carrigan: Siempre prisioneros
This Spanish-language pulp magazine features two stories. "Siempre prisioneros" (Always Prisoners), by Lou Carrigan, concerns three U.S. military personnel—Captain James Carson and soldiers William Tarlett and Arnold Weston—recently returned from Vietnamese captivity who are brutally murdered. The CIA assigns agent Baby (Brigitte Montfort), a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist who works as an elite spy, to investigate the killings. The narrative opens with Brigitte dining with newspaper colleagues at Sam's restaurant before being summoned by CIA operative Charles Pitzer. The second story, "Archivo Secreto" (Secret File), also features Brigitte Montfort. The text includes period details about boxing and Spanish cultural references, establishing a Cold War espionage framework for the protagonist's dangerous assignments.
