Selección Terror: Cuando la sangre ahoga
Cuando la sangre ahoga by Ada Coretti This Spanish-language terror selection opens with an expedition in Angola, October 1875. Six surviving members—Simon Ward, Patrick O'Sullivan, Robert Mageen, Anthony Noore, Peter Moreman, and Tony Menis—flee after witnessing a colleague killed by the anthropophagic Nakki tribe, whose warriors decapitated him with ten lances. Trapped between the tribe and a pursuing cheetah, they construct a canoe but discover it holds only five. Facing impossible choices, they resort to drawing cards to determine who stays behind. Simon Ward volunteers on condition his brother Gilbert receive 20,000 pounds from each survivor. Simon then reveals his tragic history: he and his twin brother Gilbert loved the same woman, Linda Mills. Simon killed a prostitute and let Gilbert take the blame, earning one year's imprisonment. Gilbert contracted fatal African fever while imprisoned. Simon joined this expedition as his dying brother's proxy, now resigned to his own death in the African wilderness.
