Silver Kane: Una cama en el infierno
Catalog Note This 1978 Spanish pulp horror collection includes two distinct narratives. The first, "A Bed in Hell," opens with two men transporting a kidnapped fifteen-year-old girl to a remote French manor converted into an exclusive weekend residence. Government officials Prevost and Caen arrive to inspect the property during a violent storm, witnessing a woman plunge from the medieval tower—the first manifestation of a supposed curse. Simultaneously, a parallel story unfolds: a government operative named Paul maintains a clandestine affair with the model Aline while his young daughter Marie sleeps nearby. When Paul receives an emergency call revealing Marie dead, he rushes home to find five mysterious agents waiting. The narratives intersect in ambiguous tragedy, with Aline's involvement in Marie's death and Paul's sudden placement of a loaded pistol in his hands left deliberately unexplained. The text emphasizes psychological horror and moral corruption over supernatural elements, though the manor's legendary curse provides atmospheric dread.
