The Blue Book Magazine (October 1912) This issue contains approximately twenty-five stories across varied genres. Featured serials include the fifth installment of "The Fiery Mills of Men" by Charles Wesley Sanders and the eighth installment of "Mysteries of the Sea" by Culpener Zantt (concerning the theft of a vessel). "Aladdin Jones, Mascot" by William Wallace Cook is a complete Western novelette with romance and adventure. Other stories include "The Adventures of Willie Bill: The Cat Party" by A. L. Sarran; "Slim Driscoll, Samaritan" by Frank X. Finnegan (about a burglar and baby); "The Right Hand and the Left" by James J. Carroll (a business war); and "The Name and the Game" by John Barton Ovford (a pugilist's honor story). Additional works include "Martha Ferguson's Disfranchisement," "A Writ of Replevin," and "The Come-Back," a baseball story. A photography section covers theatrical productions including "The Passing Show of 1912" and "The Governor's Lady."
