Argosy and Railroad Man's Magazine, Vol. 108 No. 2

This issue of Argosy and Railroad Man's Magazine (May 24, 1919) contains four serialized stories: "Sword and Anvil" by George Foxhall, featuring Rupert, Earl of Winston, an outlaw knight in Henry VIII's England who defends his sister's honor against the king himself; "Blue Flames" by Ethel and James Dorrance; "The Duke of Chimney Butte" by George Washington Ogden; and "The Devil's Riddle" by Edwina Levin. Two novelettes appear: "When Ludlow Street Laughed" by Faber Mundorf and "Pizen!" by Chief Henry Red Eagle. Seven short stories are included, among them "Watch the Yankee!" by William Dudley Pelley, "A Chinaman's Chance" by H.A. Lamb, and "The Wild Woman" by Lyon Mearson. The issue features adventure, historical romance, and western themes alongside period advertising.
