"The Purple Limited" (Henry Leverage) begins a four-part serial, while "Jungle Love" (Raymond Lester) continues as part two of six, "The Stray-Man" (Charles Alden Seltzer) as part three of six, "The Metal Monster" (A. Merritt) as part four of eight, "How Many Cards?" (Isabel Ostrander) concludes at part six of seven, and "Bing, Bang, Boom!" (Raymond Leslie Goldman) appears at part five of five. Paul L. Anderson contributes the novelette "The Wings of the Snow." Seven short stories include "Bad Bill Stark" (William Merriam Rouse), "Skid Smith, Scheme Specialist" (Dale M. Brown), "Caesar's Choice" (Charles King Van Riper), "Shag" (Earl Wayland Bowman), "Teach: Pirate De Luxe" (C.J. Cutcliffe Hyne), "Red Hagan Pays" (Charles J. Sullivan), and "The Misadventure of Manuel" (George K. Cummings). Additional serials begin for the Labor Day issue.
