This issue of *Amazing Stories* science fiction magazine (Vol. 9, No. 1) features serial and complete stories of speculative fiction. The lead serial "The Lost City" by Milton R. Peril begins its three-part run. "Terror Out of Space" by H. Haverstock Hill concludes a four-part serial. A Jules Verne reprint, "Measuring a Meridian," starts its three-part serialization. Complete stories include "The Ultra-Gamma Wave" by D. E. Winstead, M.D., exploring advanced physics; "Dr. Grimshaw's Sanitarium" by Fletcher Pratt, offering speculative fiction; and "The White Dwarf" by J. Lewis Burtt on astronomical themes. The issue includes a poem by Edward Reid and editorial commentary by T. O'Conor Sloane, Ph.D., on light and optical science. A science questionnaire tests readers' knowledge.
