This document consists of UFO incident reports processed by the U.S. Air Force's Aerospace Technical Intelligence Center (ATIC). The primary content is an ATIC Duty Officer's report from March 6, 1960, documenting an unidentified sighting by an Eastern Airlines pilot. According to the report, Eastern Airlines Flight 6403 (or similar identifier) observed a bright, flaring light high in the southern sky near Evansville, Indiana at 02:24 on March 6, 1960. The light appeared stationary, flared up, and disappeared quickly, with no directional information obtainable. A follow-up letter from Eastern Airlines (dated April 25, 1960) to Colonel Philip Evans denies having such a flight or pilot report on the stated date. The documents include standardized ATIC evaluation forms classifying the sighting as "Insufficient Data for Evaluation," acknowledging the third-hand nature of the report.
