Pulp Magazine Adventure Cover, circa 1950
· June 1950

This document is not a pulp magazine issue but a U.S. Air Force UFO incident report form, likely from the 1950s Blue Book project. It records a sighting on 16 June 1950 near Tucson, Arizona, by a pilot of a C-47 aircraft en route to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. The pilot reported an unidentified object passing his aircraft; the object's apparent size was compared to a B-27, its shape described as "Both Second Velocities" (heavily OCR-garbled), and it was observed at 23,385 feet altitude. The object exhibited unknown color, trail, maneuvers, and manner of disappearance. Weather was clear with 30-mile visibility. The form includes standard investigation questions regarding observer credentials and observation conditions. This appears to be governmental UFO documentation rather than commercial fiction.
