The image is a pressed herbarium specimen — *Hypericum pratense* Schltdl. & Cham. — mounted on archival paper for the Natural History Museum, London, Department of Botany. Collected by C.A. Purpus in Vera Cruz, Mexico, June 1907, it bears two subsequent determinations: one by L. Rodríguez Jiménez (1973) and one by N.K.B. Robson (1987). No satirical tradition, printmaking technique, or caricature content is present. A wall label for a comic-art exhibition cannot honestly be written for this object.
