Spiranthes romanzoffiana Cham. & Schltdl.

This herbarium sheet displays four pressed and dried specimens of Irish Lady's-tresses (*Spiranthes romanzoffiana*), a small terrestrial orchid notable for its spirally arranged white flowers — visible here as dried, darkened spikes. Collected by Dr. Leitch from the Berehaven and Bantry Bay localities in County Cork, the specimens passed through at least three significant collections before reaching institutional custody. Accompanying manuscript labels record collector, locality, date, and taxonomic determinations, including a synonym referencing *S. gemmipara* Lindl. The mounted roots remain partially intact on the larger specimen, allowing morphological study.
