Cardamine flaccida Cham. & Schltdl.
· Collected 1917, Juan Fernández Islands

This is a pressed herbarium specimen, not a cartoon or caricature. The sheet shows dried stems of *Cardamine flaccida*, a flowering plant in the mustard family (Brassicaceae), mounted on archival paper with roots intact. Labels identify it as collection no. 249 from the Svenska Pacificexpeditionen 1916–17, determined by Carl and Inga Skottsberg from Juan Fernández (the Robinson Crusoe Islands, Chile). A Natural History Museum, London barcode confirms its institutional accession. No satirical, printmaking, or caricature tradition applies here. Writing a comic-art wall label for this object would be factually inaccurate and professionally inappropriate.
