Spiranthes romanzoffiana Cham. & Schltdl.

· Collected August 1843; mounted specimens from Cork, July 1870, and later dates

Spiranthes romanzoffiana Cham. & Schltdl.
This is a herbarium sheet, not a cartoon or caricature. It shows pressed and dried botanical specimens of *Spiranthes romanzoffiana* (Irish Lady's-tresses orchid), mounted on archival paper with handwritten locality labels, collector notes, a Botanical Locality Record Club card, and Natural History Museum barcodes. No satirical figures, printmaking technique, or caricature tradition applies here. Describing it as political satire would be fabrication. The sheet documents field collections from County Cork, Ireland, gathered by multiple botanists across several decades, and is a primary scientific record — not a work of graphic art in any tradition descending from Hogarth, Gillray, or Daumier.
