Campanula lasiocarpa Cham. — Herbarium Specimen
· Collected before 1835; sheet donated to the Herbier de l'Institut Botanique de Caen, 6 November 1974

This is a botanical herbarium sheet, not a political cartoon or caricature. It displays pressed and dried specimens of *Campanula lasiocarpa* Cham. (Alaska harebell), a small alpine bellflower native to the North Pacific rim, including Unalaska. The sheet carries two manuscript labels and an institutional stamp from the Herbarium Musei Parisiensis. No satirical content, printmaking tradition, or caricature is present. Describing it as such would be fabrication. The specimen belongs to the natural-history collection tradition — Linnaean taxonomy, voyage-era flora gathering — entirely distinct from the Hogarth-to-Nast graphic satire lineage from which comics descend.
