Cordia discolor Cham. (Herbarium Specimen)
This is not a cartoon or caricature but a botanical herbarium specimen — a pressed and mounted branch of *Cordia discolor* Cham. (Boraginaceae), collected in Paraguaria Centralis by Dr. E. Hassler and documented in his *Plantae Paraguarienses* series (no. 4658a, 1913). The sheet carries handwritten determinations, a Royal Botanic Gardens stamp, and a color-calibration strip added by a later digitizing institution. It belongs to the tradition of scientific natural history illustration and specimen preservation, not to the print-satire lineage of Hogarth, Gillray, or Daumier. No satirical content, caricature, or printmaking technique relevant to comics history is present in this image.
