Sagittaria rhombifolia Cham.

· Collected 1813; mounted specimen examined 2004

Sagittaria rhombifolia Cham.
This is a pressed botanical herbarium specimen, not a political cartoon or caricature. The sheet shows a dried aquatic plant — *Sagittaria rhombifolia* Cham. (arrowhead family, Alismataceae) — with rhombic-lanceolate leaves, elongated petioles, and small fruiting or flowering heads mounted on archival paper. Handwritten and printed labels record collection data from Paraguay and institutional determinations from Czechoslovakia and Brazil. No satirical imagery, printmaking tradition, or caricature is present. Producing a wall label situating this specimen within the Hogarth–Gillray–Daumier–Nast lineage of print satire would require fabricating content the image does not support.
