Thirteen Landscape Studies (Optics in Composition)

Leon Dabo's compositional studies explore how perspective and atmospheric effects structure landscape space. These thirteen sketches investigate vanishing points, horizon placement, and the role of small figures in establishing scale—visual problems central to late-nineteenth-century landscape painting.
