This Sunday strip follows Doc Yak and a companion in a slapstick sequence involving a runaway automobile numbered 348. The narrative progresses through nine panels: a near-collision, a chase, a crash into a tree, and a final confrontation with an angry dog. The strip employs the visual language pioneered by early newspaper comics—sequential panels, speech balloons, exaggerated expressions, and movement lines—to build comic momentum through action and reaction.
